Possible Word Typing Error
Ella M
Assalamu Alaikum Quran.com Team,
I hope you are all doing well.
I wanted to bring a small issue to your attention that I noticed while reading Surah Ya-Sin on the mobile safari version of Quran.com.
In Ayah 31, the words “قَبْلَهُم” and “مِّنَ” appear to be linked incorrectly when tapped. When I tap on “قَبْلَهُم,” it plays “مِّنَ” instead, and when I tap on “مِّنَ,” it plays “قَبْلَهُم." I have attached a photo for reference. For example, I tap the word that is highlighted, the reciter says "Min".
I am familiar with Arabic, so I noticed this while following along with the recitation. I believe there may be a minor issue with the word-by-word recitation feature, although I am not entirely sure whether the issue is related to the recitation or the word selection itself.
I wanted to make you aware of this in case it is something that needs be corrected. I would also be happy to explain the issue further if needed. I just wanted to make sure someone that is not familiar with Arabic is not saying it wrong if using the word-by-word tap like me; because the regular play version (ayat-by-ayat) is correct after playing it.
Thank you for your work in making the Quran accessible to people around the world. May Allah reward you for your efforts.

A prounciation mistake
KAXHAN ABBAS
Salam. I was reading Surah Yasin and I came around this pronounciation mistake in the verse 31 of the Surah in the auto pronounciation function (I appreciate your effort for this functionality) when I tap on the word 'qablahum' it says 'min' and when I tap on 'min' it says 'qablamhum'. So this is a mistake that I wanted to bring your attention on. جزاک اللّہ ۔

There is neither mistake in the translations nor in the recitation of the verse. Only the audio voice or pronunciation when you click on each of those two words, and it's not really vice versa because one word is different (but similar). It actually replaced قَبْلَهُم with مِّن not with مِّنَ and it did that when you click on قَبْلَهُم. It looks like a vice versa only because when you click on مِّنَ it replaced it with قَبْلَهُم. Note: مِّن is not part of the verse but مِّنَ is.
