Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Believe in this ˹Quran˺, or do not. Indeed, when it is recited to those who were gifted with knowledge1 before it ˹was revealed˺, they fall upon their faces in prostration,

Correct translation is : Say: “Believe in it (the Quran) or disbelieve! Verily, when it is read to those who were previously given knowledge, they fall prostrate, touching the ground with their chins.
