That is because as is well known, it's more accurate, has good flow and most english speakers would properly understand. Whereas the one selected now, Clear Quran, doesn't reach that standard and has some issues as discussed and clarified by people of knowledge, even available online. In addition to often sacrificing on accuracy for flow perhaps, whereas most readers from this would be those that muslim for a long time and in need of understanding better as a priority. In our Dawah, we regularly share links of Quran.com in referencing surahs so that people can go into it deeper. But we ardently want the translation to be the Saheeh international one rather than Clear Quran. Therefore have to then look to other ways than sharing this website's link. And it would also work if somehow it could be managed that the sharer of the link could select which translation or defaults would appear when they're opened.

Therefore, we highly urge Quran.com and it's releant administration and official to look into this matter and take these measures for the sake of Allah and benefit of ummah inShaaAllah.
