Homepage should start with the quran
Mhmd Rmdani
Assalaamu alaikum,
I find it very unfitting to see other sections than the holy Quran first on the homepage. When landing on quran.com, the chapters of the Quran should be on top. You could create a tab for "useful links" and have these sections in that tab:
- Quran Growth Journey
- Explore Topics
- Verse of the Week
- Quran in a Year
- Community
- Quran Apps
- Quran Verse of the Day
But they should not be on top of the homepage above the Quran.
Especially on mobile, this ordering is very unfitting and confusing.
The structure of the homepage should be
---search bar---
---tabs (navigate quran, popular, useful links)---
---continue reading---
---the holy Quran---
May Allah guide us to whatever pleases Him.

the beta version of quran.com was perfect. I just want quran on my browser, without the fluff. I'm sure the lessons and stuff are useful for some people. It would be nice to have a minimal mode or be able to re-order the homepage

Too many things on the main page

Seriously, the app is becoming way too cluttered, and I feel like the main purpose of quran.com is being sidelined. How is it that there are so many sections—including one suggesting other Quran apps—before we even reach the core purpose of this site or application (quran.com)? All of these sections should come after the main section, which is the Quran itself. Anyway, we kindly ask you to review this. I suggest hiding all these extra sections inside a dedicated tab and only displaying the core Quran text on the main page. Anyone who wants to access the other sections can just go to that specific tab.

Assalamu alaikum,
Jazakum Allahu khayran for your thoughtful feedback.
You mentioned that the Quran itself should remain the main focus, with the extra sections moved elsewhere. Could you please share what you would prefer the
main page to show by default
, and which sections you would rather have moved into a separate tab or hidden? This will help us better understand the experience you’re looking for.

it's mostly the homepage that's frustrating. having quran apps, explore topics, ayah of the week, qurna in a year, learning and streak taking up all the space and having to scroll all the way down for the surahs is what makes it a bad experience. minimizing things like streak and letting the surahs take the mainstage would make it a much better experience. or at least if you'd let me re-order the homepage, that'd solve it too

all Surah selection and reading is on bottom of the homepage now, moving it to the top after the search can help navigate better.
most of the people will open quran.com just to read or search Quran, not to find other apps etc, so it will be more cleaner to move everything else in a ‘more’ section. under one button somewhere. Jazakallah Khair!
