Converting between reading and translation in middle of a surah

Sometimes I need to flick between translated text to the reading option for memorisation and in the old site it was easy to do that through the settings cogs but on the new version I have scroll all the way to the beginning. If it's a long surah that will take time.

I also find myself needing to toggle while in reading mode. If the toggle button can be made sticky, that would be nice. Jazakallahu khairan.

Assalamualaikum , 
i would like to suggest you to move the translation and reading tab not on the top of the surah rather this option should be availabe in the navbar
Because while reading just the Quranic text I wanted to see the translation and for that I had to scroll all the way to the top of the page to see those buttons.

Jazak Allah Khairan for your suggestion. There is already a way to view the translation of the an Ayah without having to switch to Translation View.

Click on any word.
Click on the translation button as shown below.
This will open a modal with the translation of the verse you selected as shown below.
