URL and New Features Issue

Akil Mansuri

AsSalamu Alaikum. Every time I visit the site, I notice many new features have been added, which makes it more difficult for me to simply read the Quran. For instance, when I open Surah Al-Kahf, it defaults to the end of the Surah, even when I change the URL to start from verse 1.

AsSalamu Aalikum,
In Google Chrome, I enter the URL:
quran.com/18
It redirects me to:
https://quran.com/al-kahf?startingVerse=110
I changed the URL to go to the 1st verse:
https://quran.com/al-kahf?startingVerse=1
It still stays on the last verse.
I hope this helps.
