1) Operating system: Android 16, One UI 8.0
2) Browser: Firefox 146.0 (Build #2016129543)
3) Screenshot of Quran text and settings attached
4) Steps: Open settings and change font to tajweed [and use in-text translation/transliteration]*. The expected behaviour should be that the text colour is white, as displayed in the settings page, and like the other fonts.
* you may be able to replicate without doing this

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Ismail Khalil
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for reaching out and sharing your feedback with us!
We have reviewed your screenshot and were able to reproduce the same behavior.
This problem occurs specifically in Firefox on Android, because the browser handles Tajweed color fonts differently from Chrome and other browsers. In dark mode, Firefox sometimes does not apply the correct text color to the Tajweed font layer, which causes the Arabic text to appear black instead of white.
Please note that the Qur’anic text and font files on Quran.com are correct — the issue is related to Firefox’s rendering of complex Arabic fonts in dark mode.
To help improve the display, you may try the following:
Ensure Firefox is updated to the latest version.
Toggle “Hardware Acceleration” in Firefox settings.
Zoom in or out once, which sometimes forces Firefox to redraw the page correctly.
If possible, view the same page in Chrome or Edge, where the Tajweed font displays normally.
If the issue continues, please feel free to share additional details such as device model, Firefox version, and a screenshot so we can investigate further.
Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve Quran.com.
