Symbols missing
Furkan Erdogmus
MacOS, FireFox, Selamu Alaykum as you perhaps can see in the Screenshot, that some letters or entire works are missing or are glitched out across a couple of verses. Therefore I have to use the Transliteration to actually read them. I hope this gets fixed soon. Have a blessed day and may Allah bless you for your work.

Quran.com Feedback Team
Assalamu Alaikum Dear Furkan Erdogmus,
Thank you for reporting this issue. We have investigated similar reports, and this type of behavior is commonly caused by Firefox’s rendering engine on certain systems. Firefox handles complex Arabic fonts, text shaping, and GPU acceleration differently from other browsers, which can sometimes result in:
clipped or missing diacritical marks
merged or missing dots (e.g., on ya or ta marbuta)
unusual Arabic shaping behavior
blurry or distorted glyphs
page refresh or reflow problems
Please note that the Qur’anic text and font files on Quran.com are correct, and these issues only appear in Firefox due to the way it renders Arabic on certain operating systems, especially Windows and some Linux distributions.
To help improve the display, please try the following:
Zoom in or out (Ctrl + + or Ctrl + -) — Firefox often redraws the text correctly.
Disable or enable hardware acceleration in Firefox settings.
Try viewing the same ayah in Chrome or Edge, where rendering is typically more stable.
Ensure Firefox is fully updated to the latest version.
If the issue continues, you are welcome to share a screenshot, your zoom level, and your operating system, and we will take a closer look.
Thank you for your time and for helping us improve.
