Ayah highlighting is out of sync with the recitation

Assalamu alaikum,
I'm having an issue with the audio player on Quran.com. When I listen to a surah, the ayah highlighting moves about twice as fast as the recitation, so it highlights the wrong ayah.
For example, when I try to go to ayah 10, it sometimes highlights ayah 9 instead. I've checked that the playback speed is set to normal and that Auto-Scroll is enabled, but the problem is still happening.
Could you please help me fix this issue?

- Does the issue occur during normal playback, or only when you manually select an ayah?
